Thank you for visiting the Dublin Bay Iris website. View our range of more than 100 Bearded Irises and browse the photo gallery.
Our iris collection has recently been moved to Taranaki so we will not be accepting orders at this early stage in the interests of ensuring good sized, quality rhizomes and sufficient future stocks. There may be a small selection available this season, and the website will be updated accordingly in October/November 2010. If you would like to pre-order from our catalog or from the list of new varieties please email us with your requirements.
All varieties shown in our catalog will be available next season as well as more than 60 new varieties (see below). Photos and descriptions of the new varieties will be added to our catalog in October/November 2010.
We intend having open days for viewing the iris collection in bloom at their location in Bell Block, New Plymouth later in the year - viewing times and dates will be posted on the website.
My private garden, La Rosaleda, will also be open for the Taranaki Rhododendron festival 29 October - 7 November 2010. The garden is in the old English style featuring over 300 old fashioned roses, irises and perennials. Plants will be for sale during the festival (mainly old fashioned perennials) and the garden is open by appointment during November and December.
